ProLace 6 with Blocks and Borer Programs

ProLace 6 with Blocks and Borer Programs

20 years after its foundation,
AllCAD Technologies launches ProLace Version 6

It was always our goal to make ProLace as efficient as possible. Embroidery objects should be developed from simple outlines to ready stitch data by adding information in every phase, avoiding retracing the same object again and again like in other punching systems.

Now, 20 years after our foundation, we can proudly announce that we finally achieved this goal. The ProFamily can offer tools for every phase of design development, from sketching to punching. To close the missing gap, design-blocks and groups can now be used from the very start of a design. Thanks to this new feature especially the development of allover designs becomes much easier and more efficient and the design size can be reduced significantly.

The example below shows a small allover design with 3 groups developed from outlines only to the ready punch.
By updating the red mother objects, visible in the left sketch, all group inserts and repetitions are updated automatically.

The long awaited Borer programs have become available

A program has been added to insert borer stitches to puncture the fabric.
Just the center point, the corner points, the stitch distance and the borer size have to be defined. Also holes with more than one center point are supported.

Programs for Connected Holes

Also three or four connected holes can be designed with an automatic program. Only the outlines of the borer area have to be constructed.

Steffel, Boundary to Hole and Hole to Hole stitches become available

With a single click you can fill a Steffel, which was previously constructed with the STEFFEL command, with stitches. Also irregular shapes can be filled if you design the outlines first.

Complex borer still require lots of manual punching, but with the possibility to punch the stitches from the boundary to the hole and from hole to hole you get a valuable tool also for punching complex areas.

Optimized Sequin handling

To punch sequin is like borer punching a time consuming and difficult undertaking. To assist you also in this task the whole Sequin handling has been optimized.
Sequin got an additional dotted circle which shows the security distance and the three circles are combined in a single block object what results in big memory savings and easier handling.
